Why are Labels Important to my Thermal Printer?
The quality of your lables can directly affect the quality of your barcode and the operational efficiency of your printer.
Poor labels and / or adhesive will cause additonal jamming and lost time. Very poor uncoated labels can even act like an abrasive, wearing away your print-heads and drastically reducing its life.
Why should it matter which way I print my Barcodes?
It matters because again this can affect by the quality and type of media you are printing on. if you print against the grain of the media then this may have an adverse effect on the reading of your barcodes. This is especially important on smaller ratio barcodes.
