Which Bar code should I use?
There are many types and variants of types of barcode. One of the best places to start is to see if you have an industry specific barcode that you and your suppliers and customers are expected to use.
If you are starting from scratch then the important things to consider are the type of information to be stored in the barcode. For exmaple will it just be letters or will you need numbers as well, or even control characters.
The second question to ask is how much information do I need to store in it ?
