How to stop wrinkly ribbons
One of the biggest issues when printing using Thermal Transfer and a ribbon is when the ribbon creases causing print quality issues. If you see this then there are a number of things you can check for:
- Check the tension of the ribbon
- Look for possible contamination on the ribbon supply path, gummed label fragments for example.
- Check for correct printhead pressure
