Resetting Photo Conductor Counter on Lexmark E340
When you have changed the OPC, you will need to reset the counter otherwise the printer will eventually stop printing.
Instructions
- Power off the printer
- Hold down the select and return buttons
- While holding the select and return buttons in, switch printer back on.
- Release both the buttons when display says performing self test or config menu
- If RESET PC CNT doesn’t display then press the left or right arrow buttons until it does.
- Press the select button once, RESETING PC CNT VALUE should display briefly then Config menu
- Switch off and wait 10 seconds before turning back on. (This should reset the page counter, and bring the printer back online.)
- Print out the config page and check the counter has reset to zero.
